Full of ancient castles and vibrant culture, our journey begins in historical Edinburgh, before we travel to the breathtaking scenery of Glen Coe and Fort William, located in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. We will also visit the magnificent Stirling Castle and experience the natural beauty of this captivating region. We then travel to England's vibrant capital, London. Rich in history and culture, this unforgettable city is home to iconic landmarks such as the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. We'll also discover the Roman influenced city of Bath, the mysterious ancient monument of Stonehenge and the pretty city of Salisbury. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Scotland

Your journey begins in Edinburgh, Scotland’s vibrant capital city. Edinburgh is an incredible mixture of history, culture and stunning scenery. Moreover, it is a wonderful place to start your Scottish journey after a seamless transfer from the airport to Edinburgh’s Old Town. Take some time to explore the historic Old Town and learn more about the ancient past and dramatic scenery that defines Scotland. Edinburgh’s Old Town is filled with ancient architecture and secret spaces. Stepping up the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace lie at each end, with alleyways to get lost in and hidden gardens to stumble upon. 

We highly recommend stopping for afternoon tea at The Dome: indulge in delicious finger sandwiches, scones and pastries served over silver teapots whilst gazing up at the beautiful interior of this barrel-vaulted restaurant.

Day 2: St Andrews & the East Neuk

Visit St Andrews, a charming coastal town filled with medieval ruins and legendary golf courses. Discover St Andrews Castle and Cathedral, the heart of Scottish heritage. If you feel like, have a walk along the Fife Coastal Path to explore the East Neuk fishing villages, enjoying the beauty and local culture.

In the afternoon, head south to Kingsbarns, a famous golf course beside the North Sea, followed by a peaceful walk in the fishing villages of St Monans, Pittenweem and Anstruther.

Day 3: Journey to Glen Coe & Fort William

Today, you travel to the Highlands! Glen Coe, arguably the most spectacular of the Highlands’ volcanic landscapes, is home to some of the most known mountain scenery on the planet, featuring incredible mountain ridges and iconic peaks such as Beinn Fhada and the Three Sisters. An atmospheric landscape to match the drama of its history, the area has been scarred by bloodshed and witchcraft, the very stuff of legend and folklore. Your Highland nightstop will be Fort William, capital of Britain’s Outdoor Capital, with world-class hillwalking and skiing plus plenty of opportunity to hide away in cozy pubs.

Day 4: Discover Pitlochry & Blair Castle

Explore Blair Castle and its 700 years of history, revealing the saga of the Stewarts and Murrays. The castle’s walls whisper of political intrigue, while its romantic Georgian and baronial redesign captivate visitors with their elegance. Visit the Blair Athol Distillery for a taste of Scotland’s finest whisky before continuing to Pitlochry.

Day 5: Highland Wilderness Safari

Start your day with an exciting Off-Road Safari in the Aberfeldy area of the Highlands and with the guidance of a local kilted Ranger who will reveal the stunning environment and abundant wildlife of the Highlands.

Follow the scent of all things savoury and head to Scone Palace to discover where Scotland’s Kings were crowned, to uncover the secrets of Scotland’s history. You can also choose to take a gentle stroll through The Hermitage, a wooded walk where you can escape from the world and get closer to nature, amongst some of Scotland’s most spectacular trees and waterfalls.

Day 6: Stirling and William Wallace

Visit Stirling Castle, a royal residence in Scottish history. Learn about the 1304 Siege and the courageous defense of the castle. Follow it up with a visit to the National Wallace Monument, where the legendary William Wallace’s legacy is celebrated.

Day 7: Departure to London

Start your adventure in England’s dynamic capital. Begin with a visit to the iconic Tower of London, where you can explore centuries of British history. Continue to the Guinness World Records museum or, for something a bit more relaxed, enjoy a stroll around St. James’s Park and Buckingham Palace. End your day with a visit to the London Eye for panoramic views over the city.

Day 8: London’s Rich Heritage

Discover the wonders of London through history. Visit the British Museum and see some of the incredible artifacts from thousands of years of human history, then take in the famous beauty of Westminster Abbey, the place where many monarchs have been crowned as well as being the site of burial for many of history's most famous figures. Next to it, you will find The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben! Lastly, you will be finishing your day off in the lively arts and entertainment area of Covent Garden.

Day 9: Bath – A Day of Roman Elegance

Travel southwest to the charming city of Bath, known for its Roman history and Georgian architecture. Begin with a visit to the Roman Baths, where you can immerse yourself in ancient history and learn about the fascinating bathhouse that still thrives today. Walk around the little cute streets and admire the majestic Royal Crescent. Don’t miss a visit to Bath Abbey and take some time to relax in the natural thermal waters at the Thermae Bath Spa.

Day 10: The Mysteries of Stonehenge and Salisbury

Today, take a journey into prehistoric England with a visit to Stonehenge, one of the world’s most iconic and mysterious monuments. Explore the ancient stone circle and learn about its fascinating history and the theories surrounding its construction. Afterward, head to the nearby town of Salisbury to visit Salisbury Cathedral, home to the Magna Carta and boasting one of the tallest spires in England. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the charming medieval streets of Salisbury before returning to Bath.
