Today, you’ll dive into Athens’ rich history, starting with a visit to the Acropolis, the jewel of the city. This iconic hill has witnessed the rise and fall of empires.  Its temples and ruins are proving the greatness of ancient Greece. Standing before the Parthenon, the most famous of the Acropolis monuments, you’ll be amazed at its perfect dimensions and full of wonderful architecture. As you go up the sacred hill, your expert guide will transport you back in time with his storytelling about Ancient Athens.

Once you feel you have absorbed enough of the views of the city from the Acropolis, head to the Acropolis Museum, a facility that houses an exceptional collection of ancient artifacts. You’ll walk through the museum’s big and comfortable galleries, where sculptures, pottery and relics from the ancient times of Athens are displayed.
