Day 1: Welcome to Athens! – The Heart of Ancient Greece

Your adventure begins in Athens, one of the oldest cities in the world. Athens is a city that has witnessed the rise and fall of empires, the birth of democracy and the growth of philosophy, art and science. Today, it’s a dynamic capital that celebrates its past while adopting modern culture. As you step off the plane, you’ll immediately feel the energy of this vibrant city.

Once you arrive, you’ll have the chance to explore the lively Plaka neighborhood with its narrow streets and white buildings decorated with colorful flowers. This charming neighborhood invites you to walk around, get lost in its alleys, each corner offering something new to discover. From here, you’ll have a perfect introduction to the mix of history, culture and modern-day Athenian life.

Day 2: Acropolis & Acropolis Museum Guided Tour

Today, you’ll dive into Athens’ rich history, starting with a visit to the Acropolis, the jewel of the city. This iconic hill has witnessed the rise and fall of empires.  Its temples and ruins are proving the greatness of ancient Greece. Standing before the Parthenon, the most famous of the Acropolis monuments, you’ll be amazed at its perfect dimensions and full of wonderful architecture. As you go up the sacred hill, your expert guide will transport you back in time with his storytelling about Ancient Athens.

Once you feel you have absorbed enough of the views of the city from the Acropolis, head to the Acropolis Museum, a facility that houses an exceptional collection of ancient artifacts. You’ll walk through the museum’s big and comfortable galleries, where sculptures, pottery and relics from the ancient times of Athens are displayed. This museum is the perfect place to dig deeper into Athens’ rich archaeological and cultural legacy. Day 3: Welcome to Sifnos – The Island of Flavors

On the 3rd day of your visit in Greece, you’ll travel to Sifnos, a charming island in the Cyclades known for its rich culinary tradition, stunning landscapes and relaxed atmosphere. Sifnos is famous for its artistic heritage, particularly in the field of marble sculpture. It’s the home to many beautiful villages and more than 200 churches. As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by the island’s relaxed vibe, which offers a perfect escape from the busy and crowded city life.

Moreover, Sifnos has a rich history of poets and artists, including Ioannis Gryparis and Kleanthis Triantafyllou. Day 4: Fykiada Bay Boat Experience

Day 7: Food Tour in Milos

Milos offers an incredible arrangement of local flavors and today you’ll have the chance to explore the island’s culinary scene on a private food tour. Start in the charming village of Pollonia, where you’ll enjoy a wine tasting paired with pleasant local delicacies. As you make your way through the island, you’ll visit main facilities that create local treasures like cheese, olives and honey. 

The tour will take you to Paliochori, where you’ll experience a unique food experience (subject to weather conditions). Later, head to Plaka to be spoiled with a koufeto, a traditional local dessert made with honey and almonds. Day 9: Kimolos Tour

Today, take a boat trip to the calm island of Kimolos, located just off the coast of Milos. You’ll begin in Chorio, the island’s capital, where you’ll explore the remains of a medieval castle and admire the 17th- and 18th-century churches. From there, we’ll stop at Agios Minas, known for its distinctive red “poria,” a trademark feature of this beautiful church. Later, head to Prassa Beach for a swim in its crystal-clear waters, followed by a visit to Goupa, a traditional fishing village, to see the colorful “syrmata”, small boathouses carved into the rocks, used from the boats as shelters. 

Kimolos is a place where you can truly escape the modern world and this tour offers a perfect introduction to the island’s timeless charm. Whether you’re exploring ancient ruins or relaxing on a beach, Kimolos will leave you with unforgettable memories.

Day 10: Departure Day – Farewell to Greece

Your driver will take you to the airport where you can depart for Athens after you have finished daydreaming your amazing experiences between ancient ruins and local cuisine.
