How much does a trip to Portugal cost?
It depends on how long you stay, when you travel, the hotels you pick and how much you want planned for you. Because every trip is built from scratch, there is no fixed package price. Share your budget and your local expert will design the trip around it, so you see the real cost before you commit.
When is the best time to visit Portugal?
Spring (March to June) and early autumn (September and October) are the sweet spot. The weather is warm, the crowds are thinner and September brings the grape harvest to the Douro Valley. July and August are the busiest months, and the Algarve gets hot and crowded. Winter is cooler and wetter, but calm in Lisbon and Porto.
How many days do I need in Portugal?
Plan on at least seven days to enjoy Lisbon, Sintra and Porto without rushing. With 10 to 14 days you can add the Douro Valley and a few slow days on the Algarve coast. Your local expert will suggest a route that fits the time you have, so you spend your trip exploring, not sitting in transit.
Will I be traveling with strangers?
No. Every trip we plan is private, so it is just you and the people you choose to travel with. Your guides, drivers and transfers are yours alone, and you set the pace instead of a group schedule. Want a late breakfast or an extra hour at a winery? That is your call.
What's included in a Portugal vacation package?
Because each trip is built from scratch, it depends on what you want. Our trips typically include private airport pickups, private transfers between cities, guided tours, entrance fees and restaurant reservations. International flights, travel insurance and personal expenses are not included. Every item is listed in your proposal before you book.
Can I combine Portugal and Spain in one trip?
Yes, and it is one of the easiest pairings in Europe. Many travelers start in Lisbon or Porto and continue to Seville, Granada or Madrid. We arrange the train tickets, private transfers or internal flights between them, so moving from one country to the next feels as easy as the rest of your trip.
