DAY 1 – Seville: Enter the Royal World of Dorne

Begin your journey in Seville, the city of Moorish buildings, of elegant palaces and of a vibrant Andalusian culture. Start by taking a walk around the historic center of the city to get familiar with it and to get a first impression of Andalusia.

DAY 2 – Seville: Discover the Royal Palaces of Dorne

Visit the Alcázar of Seville, the oldest royal palace in Europe that is still in use today. You can learn about the history of the city of Seville, from the Moorish times to the Golden Age of exploration. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this beautiful palace is also known as the Magnificent Alcázar of Seville. The palace has some of the most beautiful courtyards and architecture in all of Europe. They remind one of Sunspear and the Water Gardens of Dorne.

DAY 3 – Osuna: Discover the Battle Grounds of Meereen

A stroll through the historic town of Osuna means admiring Renaissance architecture and Andalusian traditions. Elegant streets, historic university buildings and more landmarks await. And then, of course, there is the famous bullring, the location of Daznak’s Pit in Game of Thrones. Here, history and fantasy come alive.

DAY 4 – Cádiz: Coastal Beauty and Ancient Stories

Continue to Cádiz, one of Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited cities. The cities of ancient civilizations, maritime traditions and coastal landscapes, Cádiz offers historic fortifications, charming plazas and great viewpoints. Enjoy the seafood and take in the laid-back atmosphere of this fascinating city and find out more about the landscapes that captured the filmmakers and Cádiz’s own fascinating history.

DAY 5 – Crossing Into Morocco: Tangier Between Two Worlds

Cross the Strait of Gibraltar to Tangier, in North West Africa on the edge of Europe and Africa. This unique city has a fascinating history of cultural exchange and development. In Tangier visit the Kasbah, the American Legation and enjoy the views from the top of Cabo Espartel. Explore the local markets and enjoy a refreshing glass of traditional Moroccan mint tea while taking in the views over the sea.

DAY 6 – Marrakech: A Feast for the Senses

Marrakech is the legendary imperial city of Morocco. Here you will experience a kaleidoscope of colors, ancient traditions and enticing fragrances. The Red City is an amazing mix of history, culture and the everyday lives of the local people. Within the walls of the UNESCO-listed Medina, the hustle and bustle of the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the countless souks offering the most beautiful handmade items, exotic spices and local treasures, you will discover the impressive landmarks of the city, including the stunning Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque and the many tranquil gardens. The city's impressive heritage is on show for all to see.

DAY 7 – Marrakech: Gardens, Traditions & Local Life

Explore even more of the facets of Marrakech. Enjoy tranquil gardens, historic sites and authentic cuisine, traveling at a more leisurely pace and experiencing more of local culture and ways of life. Visit the stunning Majorelle Garden, uncover the secret alleys of the ancient Medina and see examples of local craftsmanship that has been around for centuries. Get a true local experience and take a cooking class or try out a local wellness treatment before you head off on your next adventure.

DAY 8 – Essaouira: Discovering Astapor by the Atlantic

Travel to Essaouira and experience Astapor, the stunning UNESCO world heritage site. Essaouira is a coastal city with historic walls. It has an artistic atmosphere and a laid-back beach waiting to be discovered. The old harbor, the city’s ramparts and fresh seafood are just a few of the things waiting to be discovered and enjoyed while gazing out to the Atlantic.

DAY 9 – Ouarzazate & Aït Benhaddou: Into the Desert Kingdoms

Your final full day exploration of this trip is spent in Ouarzazate and the famous Aït Benhaddou, two of the most famous and visited locations in all of Morocco for their famous cinematic locations. Learn about the many historical Kasbahs and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the ancient fortified village of Aït Benhaddou, aka Yunkai from Game of Thrones. The stunning red earth of the desert set against the historic and picturesque location of Aït Benhaddou makes for a powerful combination of the real history of Morocco and the fantasy world of movies and TV.
