Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival & Playa Blanca Welcome

Arrive at Lanzarote Airport, collect your rental car and drive to Playa Blanca. Spend your afternoon settling in and enjoying the nearby beaches, such as Famara, Papagayo and Charco de los Clicos. Children can play in the sand while adults enjoy the views of the Atlantic and volcanic terrain. In the evening, take a family walk along the promenade, enjoy ice cream and soak in the laid-back atmosphere.

Day 2 – Lanzarote’s Artistic Discovery

Explore Lanzarote’s artistic and cultural treasures. Start at Jameos del Agua, a lava cave transformed into an interactive art space. Visit the César Manrique Foundation in Tahíche to see his innovative architecture and conservation work. Continue to Mirador del Río for panoramic views and Jardín de Cactus to explore unusual plant species. End the day at the beach, swimming or building sandcastles.

Day 3 – Timanfaya National Park Safari

Today you take a guided 4x4 safari through Timanfaya National Park, traveling over lava fields, craters and geothermal areas while learning about the island’s unique geology. Stop in Teguise for lunch and explore its historic streets and plazas. Continue to northern villages such as Haría and Arrieta for short walks and photo opportunities. Return to Playa Blanca for a relaxing evening.

Day 4 – Vineyards & La Geria

Discover La Geria, Lanzarote’s volcanic wine region. Walk among vineyards and visit family-friendly wineries. Adults can enjoy wine tastings while children learn about grape cultivation. Include a picnic lunch among the vines, taking in the dramatic landscape. Return to Playa Blanca for beach time or casual town exploration.

Day 5 – Day Trip to Fuerteventura

Day trip to Fuerteventura. The kids can enjoy playing on the beaches all day while the adults can explore the huge white sand dunes. Visit a farm where you can taste local goat cheese and olive oil, and then explore the historic centers of the charming towns of Corralejo, La Oliva and Antigua. Return to Lanzarote by ferry in the evening and enjoy your free time in the evening.

Day 6 – Rancho Texas Wildlife Park

Spend the day at the fantastic Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park. A fantastic park with wildlife and activities for all the family. Watch the many shows, children can ride ponies and use the many splash pools and water play areas. Take a leisurely stroll around the many trails and explore the many amazing landscaped gardens. There is a large area for a picnic in the designated area for bringing in your own food. In the evening return to your hotel in Playa Blanca for a good night’s rest and a great evening of dining.

Day 7 – Northern Island Adventures & Playa de Papagayo

Drive north to Mirador del Río for panoramic views, then visit Cueva de los Verdes, an underground volcanic cave adventure suitable for all ages. Stop at Arrieta for a picnic or swim in calm waters. In the afternoon, head to Playa de Papagayo for beach games, sandcastle building and optional paddleboarding. Finish the day with your last family dinner in Lanzarote at a local restaurant.

Day 8 – Farewell Lanzarote

After checking out of your rental accommodation, return the car to Lanzarote Airport. If you arrive back in time you could still visit the Teguise Market to pick up a few last souvenirs or some local handicrafts. After that it is time to say goodbye to the volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura with their white and black sandy beaches of golden sand and to go home full of happy memories of your family Tailored holidays.
