Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Egypt

You have made it! You have arrived at Cairo International Airport and where your private guide, who will escort you to your hotel for a smooth check-in, is waiting for you. 

After you’ve had some time to recover a bit from your flight, feel free to head out for a welcome dinner at a traditional Egyptian restaurant. It’s a wonderful first experience of the local cuisine, a perfect introduction to the culture and hospitality you’ll experience over the coming days.

Day 2: Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum

The day focuses on showing Egypt's most famous historical landmarks. Your guide will explain the historical significance of the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx while you experience these ancient structures at the site. 

The Egyptian Museum awaits your visit later to discover its extensive collection of antiquities which includes King Tutankhamun's most famous treasures.

Day 3: The Citadel, Muhammad Ali Mosque and Islamic Cairo Markets

Day 4: Welcome to Luxor – Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple

Day 5: Valley of the Kings, Tomb of Ramses VI and Temple of Hatshepsut

Visit the West Bank of Luxor for a more detailed exploration of its sites. The Valley of the Kings serves as the final resting place for numerous Egyptian pharaohs who ruled the country including the well-known tomb of King Tutankhamun.

Day 6: Welcome to Aswan – High Dam and Philae Temple

Day 10: Khan El Khalili Bazaar – Departure

Spend your last day in Cairo by visiting Khan El Khalili Bazaar which stands as one of the Middle East's oldest and most lively markets.
