Your Morocco golf journey begins in Marrakech, where your private transfer will meet you at the airport and take you to your riad in the city center. After settling in, take some time to rest and settle into the rhythm of the Red City. Later, step out toward Jemaa el-Fnaa, Marrakech's famous open-air square, where storytellers, acrobats, musicians, food stalls and souk entrances make it one of the most memorable squares in Morocco. Wander at your own pace through the merchant lanes, pause for a spiced coffee in the cooler months or try your first local flavors before returning to your riad for the night.
Begin with a guided introduction to Marrakech, starting at the Majorelle Gardens, where cobalt-blue architecture, dense planting and the legacy of French artist Jacques Majorelle offer a calm contrast to the medina's energy. Leave Marrakech behind and travel across changing landscapes toward Casablanca, Morocco's largest city and a blend of modern energy, Art Deco character and coastal influence. Here, visit the monumental Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and a masterpiece of Moroccan craftsmanship, partly built over the Atlantic. Its scale, carved details, tilework and oceanfront setting make it among the country's most striking landmarks. Spend today at Mazagan Golf, a Gary Player-designed course located approximately 25 to 30 minutes from your accommodation. It's the longest course in North Africa and it runs beside the Atlantic the whole way round. The day can be shaped around your preferred pace: enjoy a full round, add extra playing time or balance golf with a cultural visit in El Jadida. The UNESCO-listed Portuguese Cistern and the city's historic fortifications are excellent options for an afternoon discovery.
Continue your Moroccan golf adventure with a scenic drive of around four hours to Essaouira, a photogenic Atlantic town beloved for its blue fishing boats, fortified medina, ocean breezes and unhurried creative spirit. After arrival, take time to explore the medina, walk the harborfront, pause for coffee in the main square or let the rhythm of the coast guide the day. Essaouira's relaxed mood makes it a natural place to slow down between rounds and enjoy Morocco from a different perspective.
Today, play Golf de Mogador, located just 10 to 15 minutes south of Essaouira. Designed by Gary Player, the resort's two 18-hole courses are set across dunes, oak scrub and wide natural landscapes that reflect the wild beauty of the Atlantic coast. With sea air, open horizons and a quieter back-to-nature setting, this is one of the most atmospheric rounds of the trip. Afterward, return to Essaouira for a laid-back evening, perhaps with fresh seafood near the harbor before settling in for the night.
Depart Essaouira and travel south toward Agadir, a relaxed beach destination set near the end of the High Atlas Mountains. The drive takes roughly three hours, with time to enjoy the changing scenery along the way. En route, stop at Imouzzer, known as Morocco's honey capital, where you can take a short walk to nearby waterfalls and enjoy a softer, rural glimpse of the region. With two 18-hole courses, this well-maintained golf destination offers variety and a strong resort atmosphere. The Tikida Course is surrounded by eucalyptus forest and follows a classic design, while the championship course brings a more American style and spirit to the Moroccan golfing experience. After your round, the evening is free to enjoy Agadir's beachside restaurants or relax at your hotel.
After breakfast, begin the return journey to Marrakech, traveling along the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, past Berber villages and back toward the red walls and lively streets of Morocco's most atmospheric city. Once in Marrakech, use your final afternoon however you prefer.
