After breakfast, meet your guide for a half-day walking tour through the historic heart of Marrakech. Begin with some of the city's most important monuments: the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Madrasa and the Koutoubia Mosque, whose minaret is among the defining silhouettes of the city. Continue into the old medina, following narrow lanes that open into workshops, hidden courtyards and souks alive with color and sound. Leave Marrakech behind and climb into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the dramatic Tizi N'Tichka pass, where winding roads reveal valleys, villages and wide mountain views. Your destination is Ait Benhaddou, the UNESCO-listed fortified ksar built from earthen clay and once an important stop on the caravan route between Marrakech and the Sahara. Although many families now live in newer houses across the river, the old village still carries the atmosphere of another era, with towers, alleys and sun-baked walls rising from the landscape. Skoura sits in a region often called the Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs, where earthen fortresses, irrigated gardens and palm-shaded paths tell the story of desert life and trade. Depending on the season, you may wish to visit the Valley of Roses, especially beautiful in April and May when blossoms perfume the air. Highlights in the area include Kasbah Amerhidil and Kasbah Ait Abou, both offering insight into the architecture and history of the region. Dinner is included tonight at your accommodation.

After breakfast, begin the return journey to Marrakech, traveling via Ouarzazate and back across the Atlas Mountains. The road offers a final chance to enjoy sweeping mountain scenery, remote villages and the rich earth tones that define this part of Morocco. Take your time along the way, stopping for photographs or short breaks whenever the landscape calls for it. Upon arrival in Marrakech, return your vehicle and enjoy your final evening in the Red City.
