Arrive at Temuco Airport and transfer to your hotel in Pucón. After freshening up, enjoy a relaxing excursion to the Hot Springs of Huife, where natural thermal pools offer soothing temperatures in a beautiful setting. Allow your muscles to unwind after the journey and return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Today, after breakfast, start your trip to Huerquehue National Park, a stunning park with plenty of walking trails, scenic views and a large variety of plant and animal life. You will return to Pucón in the evening after a great day of walking and enjoy a picnic lunch on the way.

Start your day with a guided hike through the dense Chilean rainforests of Huerquehue National Park. Discover glacier-origin lagoons, bamboo-like cuihues, mañio trees, majestic Araucarias, and a rich array of native plants and wildlife. In the winter, admire frozen lakes; in the summer, enjoy a dip in crystal-clear waters. Conclude the day by tasting regional dishes at local restaurants, sampling both traditional and contemporary Chilean cuisine.

Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a cultural excursion to meet the Mapuche community, Chile’s largest indigenous group. Learn about their customs, worldviews and connection to the land, while enjoying traditional drinks and snacks. In the afternoon, travel by bus to Puerto Varas, a charming town in the Lake District, known for its German-inspired architecture and lakeside vistas.

Today, you take a private ferry across the Chacao Channel to Chiloé, where on the way you can see sea lions, pelicans and many species of birds. In the town of Ancud you will visit the historic San Antonio Fort and then continue to Dalcahue to visit the market of Palafitos. You will visit the local church and then go to Castro, the capital of the island, where you can take photos of the famous Manuel Montt Palafitos and visit the colorful San Francisco Church.

Discover the unique culinary heritage of Chiloé. Accompanied by a local chef, visit markets to source fresh seafood such as crab, mussels, clams and sea urchins, as well as seasonal fish like eel, mackerel, hake and salmon. Collect fresh produce, lamb, pork or chicken, native potatoes, free-range eggs and herbs. Prepare a traditional Chiloé meal together, paired with local beers and wines for a hands-on gastronomic experience.

Return from Chiloé to Puerto Varas via private transfer. Spend the afternoon exploring the city at leisure. Stroll along the lakeside boardwalk, admire views of the Osorno Volcano reflected in the glacier-fed lake and enjoy German-style architecture. Stop at local cafés for traditional Kuchen and immerse yourself in the culture and charm of Puerto Varas before concluding your journey.

On your last morning in Chile, you can take a stroll along the lakeside before your private driver picks you up to head to Temuco Airport to get back home.
