Your Évora trip, tailor-made by local experts

Don't settle for a trip copied from a guidebook. Our Évora-based travel specialists will build your trip from scratch, around your dates, your budget and the things you most want to see. Stand before the 2,000-year-old Roman Temple, step inside the Chapel of Bones, and climb onto the rooftop of Portugal's largest medieval cathedral. Walk among the ancient menhirs of Cromeleque dos Almendres, then spend the afternoon tasting Alentejo wine at a family estate. Because we live here, you get what other agencies can't give you: the best local guides, hand-picked hotels, tables at restaurants the locals keep to themselves, and skip-the-line access where it counts. We take care of every transfer, booking and detail, and we're a phone call away for your whole trip. All you have to do is enjoy Évora.

How it works

Every step of our process is built to ensure you get exactly the journey you're dreaming of.

1. Share the trip you have in mind

Dates, who is travelling, what matters most. We hand it to the right local expert, a named person who lives there.

2. Meet the person responsible for it

Your local writes the proposal personally, within 48 hours, and refines it with you until it fits.

3. Travel with someone on call

Secure payments, trusted bookings, and your local reachable while you are away.

Évora is waiting for you

Tell us your dream trip, and we'll plan every detail for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Évora worth visiting?
Yes. Évora is a UNESCO World Heritage city with a Roman temple, Portugal's largest medieval cathedral and the famous Chapel of Bones, all within an easy walk. Add the ancient stone circle of Almendres, Alentejo wineries and long, relaxed lunches, and it becomes one of the most rewarding stops in Portugal.
What is the best time to visit Évora?
Spring (March to May) and autumn (late September to November) are the most pleasant times to visit. The countryside turns green in spring and golden in autumn, and the streets are calmer. July and August are very hot, often above 30°C (86°F). Winter is mild, quieter and good value.
How many days do I need in Évora?
One day covers the main sights, but plan on about three days to enjoy Évora properly. That gives you time for the old town, the stone circle of Almendres, a winery visit and a nearby village or two. Your local expert will pace the days so you are never rushing through the heat.
What's included in an Évora vacation package?
Because each trip is built from scratch, it depends on what you want. Our trips typically include private airport pickups, private transfers, guided tours, entrance fees and restaurant reservations. International flights, travel insurance and personal expenses are not included. Every item is listed in your proposal before you book, so there are no surprises.
Can I combine Évora with Lisbon?
Yes, easily. Évora is about two hours from Lisbon by road, so it fits naturally into a wider Portugal trip. Many travelers spend a few days in Lisbon, then head to the Alentejo for a slower pace. We arrange the private transfers between them, so the journey is part of the holiday.
Will I be traveling with strangers?
No. Every trip we plan is private, so it is just you and the people you choose to travel with. Your guides, drivers and transfers are yours alone, and you set the pace instead of a group schedule. Want a longer lunch or an extra hour at a winery? That is your call.
Can you plan a family trip, honeymoon or senior-friendly trip?
Yes. There is no fixed tour, so we plan around who is traveling. We already design family adventures, honeymoons and senior-friendly journeys across Europe. Tell us who is coming and what matters to each of you, and your local expert will write a personal proposal within 48 hours, then refine it with you until it fits.
What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?
You have 24/7 support for the whole trip. Your local expert stays reachable while you are away, so a delayed transfer, a sudden change of plans or a last-minute dinner question gets sorted by someone who knows the region and your itinerary. You are never left figuring it out on your own.
